KEMET’s C0G dielectric features a 125°C maximum operating temperature and is considered “stable.” The Electronics Components, Assemblies & Materials Association (EIA) characterizes C0G dielectric as a Class I material. Components of this classification are temperature compensating and are suited for resonant circuit applications or those where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are required. C0G exhibits no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage and boasts a negligible change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±30 ppm/°C from −55°C to +125°C.

KYOCERA AVX offers a wide range of surface mount MLCCs for commercial applications to mission critical space applications. KYOCERA AVX MLCCs are available in various case sizes, capacitance values, voltage ratings, and termination options.

KYOCERA AVX Surface Mount MLCCs are available in both Class 1 and Class 2 formulations. Temperature compensating formulation are Class 1, and temperature stable and general application formulations are classified as Class 2.

Johanson Dielectrics offers a wide range of standard surface mount ceramic chip capacitors with NP0, X7R, and X5R dielectrics rated from 10 to 200 VDC. These MLCCs have barrier terminations and come in tape and reel packaging.

  • Dielectrics Type: NP0, X7R, X5R
  • Capacitance Range: 0.5 pF - 0.33 μF
