LM4040AEM3-3.0+T is an improved precision micropower shunt voltage reference with multiple reverse breakdown voltages. Laser-trimmed resistors ensure precise initial accuracy. With a 100ppm/°C temperature coefficient. It has a 60μA to 15mA shunt current capability with low dynamic impedance, ensuring stable reverse breakdown voltage accuracy over a wide range of operating temperatures and currents. It does not require an external stabilizing capacitor while ensuring stability with any capacitive load. Applications include portable, battery-powered equipment, notebook computers, cell phones, and industrial process controls.
- 3000V output voltage, 0.1% initial accuracy, 100ppm/°C tempco
- No output capacitors required, tolerates capacitive loads
- Minimum operating current is 45µA typical at (IR = 1mA, IR = 100μA, TA = +25°C)
- Wideband noise is 45µVRMS typical at (IR = 100µA, 10Hz ≤ f ≤ 10KHz, TA = +25°C)
- Reverse breakdown voltage tolerance is ±3.0mV typical at (IR = 100μA, TA = +25°C)
- Reverse breakdown voltage long-term stability is 120ppm typ at (T = 1000h, IR = 100μA, TA = +25°C)
- Reverse dynamic impedance is 0.3 ohm typical at (IR = 1mA, f = 120Hz, IAC = 0.1IR)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- 3-pin SOT23 package
