Produktoversikt
The MAX821LUS+T is a microprocessor (μP) voltage monitor with pin selectable power-on reset timeout delay in 4 pin SOT-143 package. This supervisory circuit monitors power supplies in μP and digital systems. It provides excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when used with 5V powered or 3V powered circuits. The MAX821 performs a single function that is it asserts a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below a preset threshold and they keep reset asserted for the pin selected reset timeout delay after VCC has risen above the reset threshold. The reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. Low supply current makes the MAX821 as ideal device for use in computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, critical μP and μC power monitoring and battery powered equipments.
- Supply voltage range from 1.2V to 5.5V at TA = -40°C to +85°C
- Active-low, push-pull reset output
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Supply current of 2.5μA at TA = +25°C
- Complementary RESET valid to VCC = 1V
- Reset threshold voltage of 4.63V at TA = +25°C
- Reset active timeout period of 0.8ms (SRT = GND), 32ms (SRT = VCC) and 160ms (SRT = unconnected)
