AH3572-SA-7 is a high voltage high sensitivity hall effect omnipolar switch IC designed for proximity, position and level sensing in consumer home appliances, office equipment, smart home to industrial applications. To support a wide range of demanding applications, the design is optimized to operate over the supply range of 3.0V to 28V. With chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator to provide temperature-compensated supply for internal circuits, the AH3572 provides a reliable solution over the whole operating range. For robustness and protection, the device has a reverse blocking diode with a Zener clamp on the supply. The output has an over-current limit and a zener clamp. The application includes position and proximity sensing in consumer home appliances, building automation, office equipment and industrial applications, open and close detect, position detect, level detect, flow meters, and contact-less switches.
- Omnipolar operation, single open drain output with over current limit
- 3.0V to 28V operating voltage, good RF noise immunity
- Superior temperature stability, minimal switch point drift, enhanced immunity to stress
- Reverse blocking diode, zener clamp on supply and output pins
- Supply current is 3mA typical at (output open, TA = +25°C)
- Chopping frequency is 800KHz typical at (TA = -40°C to +125°C)
- Reverse battery current is 1mA max at (VDD = -18V, TA = -40°C to +125°C)
- Response time delay is 3.75µs typical at (TA = -40°C to +125°C)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- SOT23 package
