GLCTEST is a Cisco GLC-TE compatible copper transceiver module that has been designed, programmed and tested to work with Cisco brand switches and routers for extended temperatures. The third party gigabit Ethernet SFP module delivers dependable 1GbE connectivity over copper cable for 1000BASE-T compliant networks, with a maximum distance of up to 100m (328ft). With a high-speed transfer rate of 1000Mbps, this SFP to LAN module is a cost-effective alternative to fibre. It connects using an RJ45 connector and is copper. It also features a maximum transfer distance of 100m (328ft) and an MTBF of 4,655,371 hours. The Cisco GLC-TE compatible SFP consumes less than 1.3 Watts and doesn't support Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM). This 1G small form factor pluggable copper module is hot-swappable, making upgrades and replacements seamless by minimizing network disruptions.
