The Startech PEX8M2E2 is a dual M.2 SSD PCI-Express adaptor, providing an ideal solution for upgrading your system speed and performance. Easily add two enterprise-class NVMe or AHCI M.2 SSDs into a PCI-Ex x8 or larger slot of your desktop, workstation or server system. Built around a high speed ASM2824 switch, the adaptor can access both drives at the same time. Since the adaptor does not require bifurcation, it is ideal for installation in any system. The adapter supports PCIe 3.0 NVMe and PCIe-AHCI M.2 SSDs including the most common drive sizes: 2242, 2260, and 2280 drives. The adaptor card comes with a full-profile bracket pre-installed, and includes a low-profile bracket, for installation in smaller PC chassis.
