Product Overview
The MAX5421CEUB+ is a digitally programmable precision voltage divider for PGAs in 10 pin µMAX package. It operates from a single supply or dual supply and consumes only 3µA supply current. This device consists of a digitally selectable resistor array that provides four precision noninverting gains of 1, 2, 4 and 8 for PGAs. Achieve a resistor ratio accuracy of 0.5% and includes an on-chip matching resistor for op amp bias-current compensation. It is ideally used at general purpose programmable noninverting amplifiers and programmable instrumentation amplifiers.
- 5V single or ±5V dual supply operation (single supply range from 4.75V to 5.25V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Four precision divider ratios for noninverting gains of 1, 2, 4 and 8 in PGAs
- Low 3µA supply current
- CMOS/TTL logic compatible 2-wire parallel interface
- ±0.5% divider ratio accuracy
- 300 ohm matching resistor at ratio = 1, VSS = -5V
- 0.5µs switching time
