Product Overview
CMWX1ZZABZ-078 is a compact, low cost, low power wide area network (LPWAN) wireless module that supports the LoRaWAN long range wireless protocol. This new stand-alone module measures just 12.5 x 11.6 x 1.76mm, is constructed in a metal shielded package and comprises a Semtech SX1276 ultra long range spread spectrum wireless transceiver and an STMicro STM32L0 series ARM Cortex-M0+ 32bit microcontroller (MCU). An integrated TCXO that has robust low drift thermal characteristics provides an accurate clock source for the RF transceiver. This module can transfer data via a UART, SPI, or I²C peripheral interface. It is equipped with an ADC and up to 18 GPIO channels, allowing for flexible connections with sensors, switches, and status LEDs. It has pre-certified radio regulatory approvals for use on the 868MHz and 915MHz industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) bands in most geographical regions of the world.
