Product Overview
The OP290A is a Plastic Infrared LED with dome lens. The OP290 series gallium aluminium arsenide infrared LED that is moulded in an IR-transmissive package with a wavelength centred at 890nm which closely matches the spectral response of silicon phototransistors. The forward current is specified under pulse conditions up to 1.5A. It is suitable for use in non-contact reflective object sensor, assembly line automation, machine automation, machine safety, end of travel sensor, door sensor, battery-operated applications.
