The 1624 from Ultimaker is an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) M2560 blue colour filament. It is specifically formulated to minimize warping and ensure consistent interlayer adhesion. Features excellent mechanical properties and interlayer adhesion (especially when using the front door add-on), nice aesthetics, minimal warping and reliable bed adhesion. ABS provides engineers with a low-cost approach for product development cycles allowing them to quickly design, print and test their prototypes before entering full production. With 3D printing, user can accurately test and simulate the form, fit and function of an end product’s performance. ABS filament can create highly-functional and mechanically strong products transition from concept design to manufacturing. Warnings

Not suitable for food contact and in-vivo applications. Long term UV exposure can negatively affect properties of ABS print. Applications where printed part is exposed to temperature higher than 85˚C.
